Painting Tiers
We offer three tiers of painting services, allowing clients to choose the level of detail and effects that best fit their needs and budget.
Tabletop Tier
A clean, well-painted finish suitable for regular gameplay. Includes base colors, shading, and simple basing to ensure your miniatures look great on the table.
Enhanced Tier
A higher level of detail with layered highlights, improved shading, and more refined basing. Ideal for players who want their army to stand out during games or events.
Premium Tier
Highly detailed work with advanced techniques such as blending, weathering effects, object source lighting, and custom basing. Perfect for centerpiece models, characters, or collectors seeking a showcase piece.
How to Request a Quote
Commission pricing varies depending on several factors, including: the painting tier selected, size of the miniature, number of models, complexity of the sculpt, requested effects or custom details. Because every project is unique, we provide custom quotes for each commission.

JJ Lu is a passionate miniature painter and dedicated tabletop gamer who has spent years immersed in the hobby. A lover of strategy games—especially area-control games filled with beautifully sculpted miniatures—JJ believes that painted miniatures bring a whole new level of immersion and excitement to the tabletop experience.
After years of balancing the hobby alongside a full-time career, JJ made the decision to leave his prior career and devote himself fully to the tabletop industry. Today, he serves as a game instructor and commission miniature painter at Next Move Cafe, where he shares his enthusiasm for strategy games while helping fellow gamers bring their miniatures to life.
JJ approaches each commission with patience, precision, and a deep respect for the hobby. Whether painting a single hero miniature or an entire army, his goal is always the same: to create pieces that players are proud to bring to the table.
